I've had "well, I thought I was consenting but in retrospect I was pressured" situation once or twice, including a months-long fwb situation. If I didn't know, how did the guy?

That said, there's a reason I tell everyone I know "if you're not sure, say no and leave. If the no is not respected and you can't leave, it's not consensual."

Agreed on both counts.

And part of the problem is that people *are* talkable in to things. That people play hard to get.

And that people push harder than they should, in the hope that the other person is just playing hard to get.

So people who would never *physically* stop someone leaving end up going much further than they should have.
