1. ... so...hard... not to click on one's PIN. Not that the axes are labelled well enough for that to be easy.

Yeah.

I really want to know why the non obvious (to me) really common ones are, though...

It doesn't seem to do anything if you click on it. (I clicked on a random spot.) I was afraid this would be a form in which you enter your PIN to see if it's secure. Talk about phishing techniques!

1. Oh dang. my pin isn't that great. LOL.
But my general passwords tends to be about 20+ characters, so... that's not too bad at least.

That said, the double digits diagonal line are interesting and the slight brighter bit on 6969 is a "nice" touch.

8557 is the least common choice; time to change all my PINs to that to be safer. :-D

(I consciously pick things that don't fall in the MMDD/DDMM zone when I'm limited to 4 digits, but many things take longer PINs these days where I can be more creative.)

Re: 1. I know it is possible to ask for PINs to be reassigned to something you personally find more memorable, but it's an extra step/hassle to do that, so I always just stick with the randomly assigned PIN I've been sent. Why don't most people do this?
