I think we may have gotten our tax policy wrong. I think we might actually be better off charging higher rate tax payers half a percent less than in England and encouraging them to relocate to Scotland and pay tax here.
The evidence from the ONS - specifically the shape and composition of the top 1% of incomes in Scotland looks a bit less positive for the specific dynamic in Scotland.
"What the fresh hell is this" looks good... but I seem to have ambled through menopause in a reasonable way and don't feel like I need to read about it, having done it. Unless there's more to come! That would not be a good surprise.
