Dancing

Vain!

I got to dance to Fade to Grey _and_ Geburt Einer Nation (Laibach Nuremberg-esque cover version of Queen's One Vision), chat to Anna _and_ got introduced to Phyllis, a friend of Erin's who's cute, interested in a wide variety of artistic type things _and_ a gamer. Has a boyfriend, before someone asks, but also has a livejournal, so I can at least have another Edinburgh person to communicate with.

I need to know more people that do things.

mmm, gaming...

i wanna do more stuff.

i also don't want to move from this sofa right now because walking along sauchiehall street in non-sensible shoes at the speed of lightning is not fun the day after.

I'm not an RPGer but I like board games and don't have any fellows to play with eg scrabble, Continuo and this appalling thing called Tantrix I was introduced to on holiday..

I was thinking about that post of yours actually - I do know what you mean.

But yeh - next weekend maybe? I'm crap at everyting but scrabble though ! (Where are you? I'm in Bruntsfield.)

Law. Mostly Internet law. hence my completely unshared LJ interest of "Internet regulation" which does surprise me a bit given how many geeks are here..

Well and thank christ for that! :)

Shade fans used to be thin on the ground - most people picked up on Bachalo on X men and Milligan on his later Marvel stuff. I still think Shade is way the best thing he ever did.

Yes. And Shade as a lampshade and a mattress cover - magnifique! I miss Lenny... (actually if you were watching Kalifornia tonight, when I went to see that in the cinema I thought the main bad girl lead would have been perfect for playing Lenny - I can't even remember who she was now..)
