8.
Or do I have that wrong? Did he say it actually on TV on the show?
Just trying to figure out the actual WTF-level here.

Re: 8.
How are the UK peeps in general taking it? That it seems now that if you do work for the BBC, you can't criticise the government on your own time on your own accounts. (Though sadly, I suppose even if you overtly rebranded as Govt Propaganda Channel, a depressingly large % of folks would still watch)
Re: 8.
No polls yet though.

One would lay down and cause a traffic queue, and the other went up the line for a handout.
Everything was inside the car, so the Coyotes weren't in a good position to argue but they really didn't believe us when we refused.
Even in a truck that size I don't think I would argue with an elephant, but I don't know what I would do if the sign said "do not feed the elephants".
IIRC I have seen videos of monkeys getting inside cars if the window was slightly down.

Just how long is it gonna take the laws to catch up?
Cannabis
From the article, it appears that it is not because of inhalation, because smoking alone doesn't do as much hippocampus damage.
I have just started exploring it for pain relief. Evidence to date is mixed. Oinkment works about as well as Extra Strength Tiger Balm. Edible with 2.5 THC and 10.0 CBD is good for sustained sleep, which is the best painkiller.
So. Is it THC? CBD? Other canaboids (wrong spelling, but I like it)? Terpenes? Other things? All working together? Enquiring minds, yadda yadda.

Re: Cannabis
My favourite aunt, who lives in a part of Wales with a lot of hippies and "alternative lifestyle" and creative types, told me probably 30 years ago that everyone she knew who used cannabis regularly for years "got really really boring" and she thought it was really sad how some very clever and creative people had ended up so boring.
It was probably the most effective Don't Do Drugs message I received as a teenager. I'd still like the option to experiment with standardized doses for pain and nausea relief: mid-40s me has more chronic illness than mid-teens me did.

It looks like the hippocampus is pretty much crucial to everything. Hmmmm.
