First photo: Blackford Pond. I just had a nice view across to the other side of the pond, lit by the golden light of the slowly setting sun, and through some branches on my (darker) side of the pond.

Second photo: The hill in front is Blackford Hill, with Arthur's Seat in the background. And the wall is around what is now an allotment.
