The horse was awesome. I'd love to know if there are any examples which predate Akira!

2. Definite need of attention to be paid to this. I expect Byline Times, The Guardian and a couple of other news services based in the UK to get around to this one.

3. I don't believe the denials. Musk and Putin had a conversation, and it's got to be leaked.

I may be being too US-centric, but I think many powers that be want fascism back with Herr Trump and his MAGA crowd, starting with the US midterm elections coming up any day now real soon. They always think they're the safe power behind the throne at least until the blade comes down and their heads come off.

I think some of these people figure on "No Dictatorships Without Another Great Depression First" still holding true, because it worked so well for so long for Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo(?)...
