1. The faster the air dries out the virus particles, the better, it seems.

2. Depression in service to (a) dictatorship-building and money-laundering.

6. Okay...

I for one was annoyed by Wordle using something which isn't a word!

"Lorries stuck at checkpoints for four days due to terrible new Brexit red tape"

Is that a bug, or a feature? I mean, people who voted for Brexit wanted a customs regime erected between the UK and the EU, right? That was part of the whole point. And now they've got what they wanted.

"Here's the solution"

Here's what? What I read at that link is a bunch of techies arguing with each other as to what the best solution is, and expressing their ideas in forms that lay readers can't follow. Change the thingamajig from bip to bop - well, how do you change the thingamajig?

I was quoting from two different entries. If it had occurred to me that the second item would be seen as relating to the first, I would have phrased it differently.

I really love the bouncy ball thing. I am a little sceptical because the balls seem to always finish in a colour graded sequence. The sound is quite soothing.

It's worth reading the text attached to the video. If I'm understanding it correctly, it looks improbably neat because they totally cheat -- they're starting with the nice brief image they want to show, and then run the physics backwards to get a starting point that produces that. It's a lovely proof of concept of what you can do when you completely control the world...
