The problem I have is with those who can't see the issues.
I still listen to the music of Carlo Gesualdo da Venosa knowing he was a double murderer and I love the art of Richard Dadd, another murderer.
Charles Dickens was an anti semite (and apart from being trans I have Jewish ancestry) and I'd like a pound for every insult to Romani people I've ever read (and why, yes, I have that blood too) and still seeing thoughtful people who should know better using the 'g' when they wouldn't dream of using the 'n' word upsets me badly.
