Hhahahah, ahhh BBC - I signed that SGP letter myself, the point of it was to make clear that we want trans rights and particularly GRA reform pushed in the talks with the SNP, not to say we shouldn't be in talks with them at all because of it. That report conflates a whole bunch of different things - folks flounced off months ago when their anti-trans amendment didn't pass at conference. And Andy Wightman's just a grumpy so-and-so who doesn't like someone telling him that he's doing feminism wrong (and I say that as someone who has met the guy and has a lot of respect for his land reform agenda).
