Do you know how much under water that flood map imples? Are talking moist or six foot under water do you think? The big area next to the docks in Leith is pretty flat and I wouldn't be surprised if a very, very heavy rainfall meant it was an inch under water.

That flood map site - I played a bit with years and assumptions, and it made little difference for London, staying much the same through the century and regardless of the other settings. But thank you anyway.

On the flood risk map, turning off the "exclude potentially protected areas" makes a major difference to the display. Looking at it for the Boston (Mass.) area, the "potentially protected areas" include some places that are already flooding at "king tide" high tides a few times a year.

In the delivery app article: "The most expensive order was a burrito and a taco from a Mexican restaurant, which cost £43.94 on Deliveroo - £12.29 (44%) more than ordering directly."

This burrito and taco are overpriced by any metric!

"Boris Johnson is stupid, but not 'believed in Matt Hancock's competence' stupid"

Actually yeah, I guess that's the problem :( He put yes men everywhere but none of them were any good at anything and apparently this was an actual surprise to him :(
