The contact tracer one must be frustrating for the workers and I feel truly sorry for them but I think a lot of people, even otherwise sane people, are coming less and less to trust 'them' and 'they' have not exactly covered themselves in glory when all is said and done.

There's also just a big problem where spam calls, especially to landlines, just make everyone so suspicious and make it very hard to do that first contact. And scammers mean that we're all trained not to give out info over the phone to a cold caller. (In theory.) I don't know how well the scripts deal with that, if at all.

I do feel sorry for the tracers, though. They've been screwed over by Serco, and the government, & the general environment.

A family-friendly Firefly/Serenity reboot?

This sounds like a terrible idea. 😑 But I think Disney has lots of terrible ideas – like remaking their animated films into live action films. Anything to make a buck, I guess.

I have mixed feelings about the new film house.

Not sure I love the idea of a large building being built in the middle of a public square but also, that public square is not well used for public things.

Yeah, it's just dead space 99% of the time, let's do something cool with it.

I think the only time I've seen it used as community focal point was during Andy Murray's Wimbledon final.
