The most horrifying thing about that thread on campus sexual violence is that nowhere does it even mention that sexual violence is a criminal offence, which victims should report to the police. Which implies dreadful things about attitudes to basic law enforcement in that culture.

Lynn Seymour was a curvy dancer. So was Zizi Jeanmaire. Lizzo's dancers are just fat, and would dance much better if they were not.

I expect the Edinburgh City Low Emission Zone is part one in what is really a longer term plan to expand the geographic scope of the zone and the stringency of the requirements.

Do you know how it interacts with proposals for an Edinburgh centre congestion zone for non-Edinburgh residents' cars?

Given the relationship between the council and Lothian buses and given the investment by Lothian buses in newer buses I also wonder if this is an attempt at manipulating the transport market in the wider Edinburgh economic area in favour of Lothian Buses.

I do think that "letting polluting vehicles into the places we live" will be something our grandchildren will be aghast at.

I don't see a conflict with congestion zones. I guess we'll see how it plays out.
