Interesting article about Keir Starmer. I think that's true everywhere, people ironing out their accents to sound mainstream. Heck, in the US, the "normal" dialect is called Broadcast English.

Also in the Spectator, a blog praising J.K. Rowling for her TERFyness. Argh.
