The one on trans people is not exactly novel- that's been known for decades.

Hardly a surprise when you realise that GCS fixes a massive and potentially damaging personal problem and that for all the lies written about it, 'regret' is almost non existent.......

That video on gaming for the non-gamer has had 3.7 million views in one week! I agree that it's the button mashing and frustration that keeps me away from video games.

Video games really weren't around when I was a kid--I remember playing Pong on tables outside of bars at restaurants when I was a teen, and then had an Atari 2600 when they came out...but having my adult son teach me how to play games on the xBox has really been fun. He gets my frustration with the controller. He started me on games that give you lots of teaching opportunities for where the buttons are and how to use the bumper and so forth.

It's those platformers that get me. I'm always jumping and missing, and then for what? I get the same sense that I'm wasting my time when filling in a crossword puzzle. I'd rather read a book. 8^D

(Disclaimer: I do waste time in the Legends of Equestria game, but it's like playing with pony dolls, and My Little Ponies are awesome.)

I've played video games since the beginning, but never been good at ones that require twitch reflexes. I'm -terrible- at ALL jumping games or jump requirements, while I'm decent at aiming. Part of it is that I get motion sick and too much screen motion will nauseate me. Anything that's RPG-based tho -usually- doesn't have too much requirement for superhuman reflexes is something I'll enjoy
