I agree. Once humanity demolishes most of the brutalist buildings, we'll realize that they were beautiful and miss them.

Brutalism reminds me of Romanesque architecture, which is also both ugly and timeless.

I like it too. At least they tried to do interesting and unique things with concrete, and were bold. And even if it is not to everyone's taste, historical value isn't just what the lowest common denominator for being considered pretty is, so preservation should not just protect the easy things, that everyone wants to keep anyway. Though of course it is not helped by falling into disrepair.
