Sadly, what it seems a lot of people do is to have an 'accidental' fire and claim on the insurance...........

The unwanted building looks like a cross between a Star Wars battle-droid and a parking garage. Trash it.

Interesting that the Hamilton article refers to Jefferson's political party as the "Democratic-Republicans". That's a nonce name, never used at the time, applied by historians to distinguish it from other parties with similar names. They mostly don't do that any more. Recent books usually call it the Jeffersonian Republican party, or just Republican (the name its adherents actually used) in such a way to be clear they're not discussing the later party of the same name.

Posting about children: great sense here.

I don't see what sending dick pics has to do with validation, but the need for validation one man mentions is real. We all need to be assured we're OK. Not great, just OK. Yet that seems awfully hard to understand by those who are being asked to give it, and not just when the asking takes the form of sending dick pics.

But in the vast majority of complaints that I see against "political correctness", the complainer specifies exactly what they think they're being told they can't say. Sometimes they're right; they can't. (See James Watson below.)

One reason introverts don't packbond with their co-workers is fear that, it not being a native language to them, they'll do it badly, and will be worse off than if they hadn't tried. Look at those guys who send dick pics.

Packbonding ... *sigh*. Even at my age, the way OP laid out the reality of it was very helpful. Perfect timing for my current situation.

Playing for the other team here. I think that building is absolutely stunning.
