Very cool looking, but I remember running into a site about some utterly insane bike that was powered by a gas turbine, it had a top speed of something like 250 mph. Ah, here it is, although the earlier pic I saw looked a bit cooler.

I've never seen the fascination with how far you can break the speed limit. Thats not performance - its bragging. Good acceleration, I appreciate, as well as strength.

yup. but really good perfomance and outright top speed do seem to go together.
