Mood Food

Still recovering from last week. Here's a quick illustration of how much my mood is food-affected:

I felt tired all morning. Head feels stuffy and my mind isn't really working.

I had beef and vegetables (onions, carrots and lentils) for lunch. No change in mood, and I still felt out of it. I wanted to snack a lot, so I picked up some cold meat and snacked on that.

Stephen popped out at 2:15 to Sainsburies, so I went with him to get some air. I picked up a Scotch egg, which I'm allowed the occasional one of (it's got about 8g of carbs in it).

30 minutes later I'm feeling much more awake, my brain is running and I'm even being vaguely productive.

That's how sensitive I've become to carbohydrates.

You know those people who shouldn't eat sugary things, or drink caffeine, because they bounce off the walls? I've become one of them. No tolerance left at all.

It's hard for me to comprehend how anyone could eat an entire Scotch Egg and not immediately die of some massive coronary or cerebrovascular explosion. You guys over there must have arteries made of vanadium steel.

You should talk to aberbotimue he eats a few at a time. Still as you said, its sausage and egg * 2 or 3 or 4 .... you get the picture.
