Just been up Aurthur's Seat with Leslie.

It's fucking gorgeous out there - around 70 degrees, enougb kreeze to stop me roasting, and lovely and bright - I could see as far as the Forth Road Bridge.

Goddamit, I love Summer.

I envy you living in a place where summer is 70s degree days with no threat of 90 degree days looming behind them. Portland has some of the coolest summers in the US, but it can still get into the 80s (which I find uncomfortable) for up to 5+ weeks every summer and spends at least a week or two (although usually spread out in 2-3 day intervals). It's cloudy and in the low 70s now, but I know this could easily change.

Similar weather down here in sunny Cheshire. Absolutely wonderful and a great excuse to eat ice-cream. I spent most of the day playing with my new hedge trimmer (I have big garden and unkempt hedge). All went well until I sliced through the electric cable - thank goodness for circuit breakers.
