Rich and I went to see Secretary, thought it was excellent...except for the people giggling!! OK, the sight of a man having a wank is funny, but it just annoyed me during some of the more significant parts of the story that people were giggling like schoolgirls talking about willies.
Really good story, Maggie Gyllenhaal is great, I think the best words to describe her are "quirkily endearing", and it really made me wonder why James Spader doesn't do more.
It was out in Austin for a nanosecond and I missed it. It seemed like a real find--Harry Knowles reviewed it and said it was most excellent. If you see it, let me know your opinion because I'm tempted to by the DVD if/when it comes out...
