Have 1,000 people died after being found "fit for work"?

I guess we'd have to know how many people were found "fit for work" to know if this was an unusually high number anyway.

Man Sentenced to 6 Years in Jail for Selling Fake 'Frankenstein' Posters

Headline looks like miscarriage of justice and a really harsh sentence. The alternative headline "Man sentenced to 6 years in Jail for $1.3 million fraud" looks like justice and a fairly reasonable sentence.
