In case you were wondering who the kid with the lightsaber was in the painfully funny video that's been making the round recently, you can find the answer here.
Which takes less than a minute, costs you nothing _and_ you can lie.
I really have no patience with people that complain about that kind of thing. These people are giving you free access to vast amounts of work that they've paid for and still people whine because you have to choose a username and type in your age.
I think its just the added complication of having yet more accounts... you end up with hundreds, with half of them needing different account names to remember because yours is already taken.
The whinge is only because it takes time. I expect instant gratification from my clicks!! :-)
I just get pissed off with people setting up links that require preconditions without stating the preconditions. I felt there should be a warning so I made one.
do you mean download it from the site mentioned, www.waxy.org ? that site seems to only have it in bit-torrent format.
i'm not complaining about having to open my handy dandy notebook to look up my NYTimes id and pw, but installing a new download/file sharing pgm is a bit much.
...the kid says he didn't even want anyone to see the video. that would normally be enough to convince me to not download it. but i like star wars and seeing someone be enthusiastic about it sounds wonderful, and I wouldn't make fun of it.
but really, having someone take your video and post it on the net without your permission, that's an very un-nice thing to do. might it even be illegal?

I leae it up to you on whether or not it's moral to download it. But you're not adding to the kid's pain by doing so - he's not even going to know.
