A modification to my new year's resolution

Change of tack - I have been under the weather and frankly somewhat depressed the last few days. I considered forcing myself to write LJ posts anyway, and decided that that really wasn't what I needed out of life.

Therefore I am going to instead aim to write 365 non-link/repost posts this year, and I shall keep track of that on a sem-regular basis.

That being the case - can anyone recommend one of those counter things that I can use once a week or so to show how well I'm getting along?

A post it note and a pen? Sorry...

Have you got a paper calendar, say? Tick off a day every time you post something, and you'll know how you're doing easily. Obviously if you don't have a calendar, that's that out, as might be a bit excessive buying one just to do this. :)

I am in a similar position, but determined to write something tomorrow. Chin up, old bean.

I use www.tickerfactory.com for a weight tracker but they do objects/action counters which may help you.

to respond to the technical aspect - how semi-regular are you aspiring to be?

Please don't put too much stress on yourself for an artificial goal. Do the best you can about updating but seriously, you're getting MARRIED this year and Julie is finishing her PhD. You are going to have enough pressure!
