As you know, I'm really very right-wing. I must have got very lucky with all the exams I managed to pass over the years.

Presumably with right-wingers being gormless plebs and all, and left-wingers being super-intelligent high-achievers, rich and successful people would tend to vote for left-wing parties while the right-wing parties would depend for their votes on unintelligent menial workers...

I'm not sure why you're conflating "super-intelligent" and "high-achiever" - or "rich" and "successful", unless you believe that the only kind of success is of the monetary kind. I know some very smart people who are successful where they want to be, working with charities, faffing with computers, or in other jobs that have nothing to do with making as much money as possible.

Also, you'll note that they're mostly talking about bigotry, and not a particular political stance. They specifically state "'Clearly, however, all socially conservative people are not prejudiced, and all prejudiced persons are not conservative.'"

I went digging. Looks like the BNP bring the score waaaay down, and Conservatives are smarter than Labour:
Mean age 10 IQ scores for people voting in the 2001 general election for various parties were as follows: Green 108.3; Liberal Democrat 108.2; Conservative 103.7; Labour 103.0; Plaid Cymru 102.5; Scottish National 102.2, UK Independent 101.1, British National 98.4; Did not vote/None 99.7.
