Oh - on the subject of gaming scores - don't use Metacritic. Or at least, note which magazines/sites are giving high scores. It includes scores from official platform magazines that don't ever give low scores and sites which are known to give good reviews in exchange for payment or other benefits from the game publishers.

I think I sent you a link a while ago to discussion of how Activision (I think, anyway, one of the big companies) let sites print reviews earlier ahead of release embargoes if they were giving higher ratings.
