On a side note, I don't know who that actress is - but she sure looks like she would make a fine Ripley if anyone wanted to reboot Alien.

She was Ramona in the Scott Pilgrim movie.

(I just had to look that up - I didn't recognise her at all)

I thought it was a remake too. I didn't even realise it was meant to be a different camp it looks so similar.

I think that the idea is that if you didn't know anything about the original (over 25 years old now!) you could just watch it. And if you do then you'll have a sense of overwhelming dread at knowing how it all comes out :->

It looks very good, and true to the original as well. My only caveat is the background music, which is cliched and gloppy, but there doesn't seem to be much of it.

Anyone remember the fairly recent story from the Thing's point of view?
