My manager at a previous job once came out of a meeting room with a horrifying story of how her boss had sat there during the conference call and taken her shoes off, put them on the table, then started picking bits of dry skin off her feet.

That's not the gross bit.

The gross bit is that her boss had forgotten it was a video conference.

This is the same manager who lied for over a year, claiming that one afternoon a month she had a conference call in a meeting room with her counterpart in our office down south.

After the very first of these calls, she and her counterpart both just headed home, telling their staff that they were in a meeting room on a call, when in fact they just went home early.
