Heh :-) Though out of all the instances of that basic joke, I think my favourite so far is still one that somebody used on Monochrome last year, which simply read

Sarah Connor'); DROP TABLE VICTIMS;

I liked it best for its faintly depressing implication that even nightmarishly efficient killing machines designed by a superhumanly intelligent AI twenty years in the future will more than likely still be back-ending on to dodgy SQL databases and not properly sanitising their input. As the guy commented, "the Singularity will consist of crapware all the way down".

Although, hmm. Now you've got me wondering: if I had to pick a cut-off point in time and was allowed to officially disavow everything stupid I said before then but not after, what date would I pick, and why?

I suppose there'd have to be some incentive in favour of picking earlier dates, otherwise the obvious answer would be "two minutes ago", or perhaps even "a hundred years in the future".

The paper version of the census form asks you to fill with either a black or a blue pen to help with scanning. I've filled mine in with a green pen. I considered writing in the medical conditions section "blue/green colourblind..."

Didn't in the end, because I don't want to lie, but it was a funny thought nonetheless.
