Amazing reflection on a lake. Looks astounding.

I managed to get one (a reflection) a few years ago off Lake Matheson of Mt. Cook on the Southern Alps. It was a combination of determination (it was our second go) and luck (it was a still morning) and timing (about a minute later it began to drizzle).

Heh. I was sitting here thinking "okay, that's quite cool" - and then, well, that happened. And now I'm saying "Okay, that's actually extraordinary." Which was of course the intention. Apparently I am the perfect patsy.

Some years ago, a museum discovered that they'd bee displaying a Matisse (I think it was) upside down.
