Have you ever seen the threads on Metafilter about which is the correct word/pronouncation for a phrase? They are really something to behold. People just won't accept that they are wrong!

That said, don't "font" and "fount" mean exactly the same thing?

No no no! It should be "font" of all knowledge. Because, as you know, knowledge comes in words, and words come in fonts.
