Brand New Day

This is our bedroom:

The bit of wood at the back is the headboard. The bed is covered with all of mine and Julie's clothes. There are a lot.

So, not staying there tonight (we were up at 6am moving all of the stuff out), but thanks to [livejournal.com profile] princealbert's old flat not having sold yet, we have a place to stay for a couple of days - a nice little flat in Slateford. For which we are intensely grateful.

We finished moving things at 8am, as the workmen arrived, and then hopped in a bus over to the new flat. I dropped off Julie, a pair of laptops, and clothes/toothbrushes/etc. for a couple of days, and then headed into work, arriving a mere two minutes late for the morning huddle.

The flat seems to come equipped with an XBox 360 and a copy of Bayonetta. Between that and season 2 of Chuck we should be kept amused for the weekend!

That bit of wood at the back is most certainly not the headboard! Its my desk, which is ON the bed, and everything is piled higher than the headboard!

If you're that end of town, you could come over to Clare's film night perhaps?

Not seeing the problem, akshually. That's more or less what any given room in my house looks like, any given time. (There's no point trying to keep things on shelves, if you have cats who just think stuff looks better on the floor...)
