We can make trailers for books now?

Also, I would totally go and see this if it was a film.

First female reporter. "Natasha Yar". Could it be more geeky?

Did you see Neal Stephenson's trailer for Anathem? I thought it was pretty out there to do it, but I thought it was pretty awesome when I saw it. I'd thought the book was unfilmable, but given how mcuh it was about the feel of the world, maybe it would actually work better on film.

Well, you can get trailers for fanfics on youtube, so why not books?

It seems to be a trend. I saw this one about 6 months ago.

Hey, I know most of those people! The team who made the trailer (EyeVox) are a local firm. "Natasha Yar", the in-studio news anchor, the Klingon, the (I can't remember what character he is, so) tall blond who asks if the Klingon knows he isn't really, & the Orion slave girl are also part of Fondren Theater Workshop (a local-ish group who've done Rocky Horror & other shows Galoot & I have been part of).
