The TGV is not 'powered by nuclear power'. It's powered by electricity. The fact that that leccy is produced by nuclear has no impact at all on the TGV's performance or speed or impressiveness. Logical fallacy here, whose name I can't be bothered to look up. But unimpressed.
Did you actually read the article? At no point does he claim that its speed is related to the fact that the electricity is produced by nuclear power stations.

I personally doubt it would have made a difference. Lucas is a bad director of actors. A good director would have gotten better performances out of everyone. Just my thoughts.
