Did I post about getting an hour on a Segway a few weekends back? They were great fun, and I can see the use of them, but they seemed a lot more functional than the ones in this video.
If you did, I didn't see it. I've had a brief ride on one (bloody Lembit insisted at a conference, pretty much everyone had a turn), and wasn't that impressed, but again, can see point.
But Segway is fairly ineligant, bulky and forward/backwards for most part. That thing lets you dance.
The turning circle on a Segway is pretty much zero. Took me 15 minutes to get used to, but after that they were pretty much thought controlled. And these things looks a lot less comfortable to me - looking at the legs of the two women, they look like they're held pretty tense most of the time.
Yeah, until it hits the streets you can't tell whether it's going to be successful, or have a massive flaw hidden by the advertising. Something to look forward to :->

The Chinese know how to use them:

But... Segway is in production and on sale. That's a very early concept prototype. I'm guessing, given it's Honda, they'll have options and similar.
We'll see, I guess.
OTOH, it could be as succesfull, and useful, as a C5.
