Want.

Actually, probably don't want, wouldn't make use of it much, but can definitely see potential there, in a lot of circumstances, not just for those with mobility impairments.

They really need to have a better video for such a cool bit of kit though. Wonder what the batter life'll be?

If you did, I didn't see it. I've had a brief ride on one (bloody Lembit insisted at a conference, pretty much everyone had a turn), and wasn't that impressed, but again, can see point.

But Segway is fairly ineligant, bulky and forward/backwards for most part. That thing lets you dance.

Maybe.

But... Segway is in production and on sale. That's a very early concept prototype. I'm guessing, given it's Honda, they'll have options and similar.

We'll see, I guess.

OTOH, it could be as succesfull, and useful, as a C5.

Cool. For mobility issues it's looks great or as an office chair for roles with multiple workstations.

Reminds me of the belly wheel from Judge Dredd. Some people might need two.

Have we learnt NOTHING?

(It is rather damn cool though. But stairs...?)

Given the apparent ground clearance of their feet on that thing, never mind stairs, the average British pavement is going to trip it up :)
