See, the problem with your layout is that it never shows the icon you're using in a post.

I got really confused when I saw my goth icon on my friends page.

That is a really cool idea, far too much attention to detail. Crap printer, but, y'know, lego, that's cool.

My layout deliberately turned off non-default icons, because I got confused trying to work out which icons belonged to which people.

And yes, it's just a cool miniproject. I don't think you'd actually use it :->

I can imagine you might if you wanted something interestingly non-standard, like using gold ink to write on ceramic tiles or something.
