Just reading some more about this apple censorship. Scary business. Apple are most assuredly not our friends.

Perhaps it could be argued that the war on drugs has achieved its real aims, just that these could not officially be stated: The establishment of a penal-industrial complex, the disenfranchisement of millions of African-Americans etc.
