I'm actually being as positive as my optimism quota will allow for about this whole LibCon thing, as you know. But there is a level of wide-eyed innocence to this article.

They're varying back and forth between "DOOM! WE ARE BETRAYED!" and "EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE JUST FINE." depending on the columnist.

It's kind of funny to watch.

See, this is why I'm an Indie reader now. The Guardian are all "Woops, we spoke too soon with the whole Lib Dem supporting thing, don't we look silly?!" and the Indie were all "Voting Reform!" and now they're all "Voting Redorm!" and I'm like Right On.

Whereas if you're a Labour party member you're half way between the two, i.e. "DOOM! EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE JUST FINE!" ;-)

That _is_ my favourite kind of doom.

I have to say I am very happy that we have people shining a light on anything bad the government does. The Theresa May stuff, for instance. I just hope it gets picked up by newspapers as well.
