Though I have no idea how to read this infographic, I'm thoroughly amused to see the cassette single mentioned. That was one ill fated format from the start as ever there was one. I must have one been one of the very few to actually buy a couple of thess. They must be worth something by now. :)

Looking more closely it must be total turnover in $millions or something, otherwise download album would be bigger than download single

I was mistaking the timeline, so I wondered why vinyl singles started so low - it's because they were already finished
