More music annoyances

Having accidentally deleted large chunks of my music collection the other day (while attempting to synch it with my jukebox), I decided to do a mass rename, because half the names included numbers and half didn't, and winamp won't sort on track number unless it's part of the name (or something like that, Winamp's never been intuitive for me).

So I download an MP3 renamer, and set it going. Not realising that there's a chunk of MP3s in my collection that don't have ID fields filled in! Aaagghhh!

Now going through and renaming all the tracks that are now "0.mp3" back to their original names...

Jews picked again

Satirewire does it again.

I nearly pissed myself at 3 separate occasions during this one.

Jerusalem (SatireWire.com) Update — Jews, whose troubled, 10,000-year
term as God's "chosen people" finally expired last night, woke up this
morning to find that they had once again been hand-picked by the
Almighty. Synagogues across the globe declared a day of mourning.

Asked if the descendants of Abraham shouldn't be pleased about being
tapped for an unprecedented second term, Jerusalem Rabbi Ben Meyerson
shrugged. "Of course, you are right, we should be thrilled," he said.
"We should also enjoy a good swift kick in the head, but for some
reason, we don't.

Voting

Well, I guess I now know who I'll be voting for in the next election.

I'd been edging toward the Lib-Dems as it was, but this definitely clinches it.
