Good things about today

1) Spent an hour chatting to marrog online. Including a fascinating discussion about the Catholic church. We're against it.
2) Got my Julie back!
3) Watched Dr Who. It was good, if not great.
4) Played some WoW.
5) Went to bed. (ETA 17 seconds from now)

I've been having a number of negative conversations about the Catholic Church recently. My mother loved her church (in highly educated, very liberal Palo Alto, CA,) but I never considered it mine and at age 13 I gladly left and never looked back. I was never "confirmed" and I never went to confession.

But I think my mother, were she alive today, would be greatly saddened to learn this stuff about the larger church, and she would be furious with the church's half-baked defensive tries. I still remember when they were accusing hundreds of boys and girls of all being "liars."

I felt the same way about the new Who.

Erik's playing "the evil game" right now. I've refused to be sucked into the WoWC vortex. I expect to be hunted any day now:-)
