The advantages of country living

Include watching pheasants eating from the bird feeder in the back garden.

Advantage No. 2: Being able to lure pheasants into one's garden with feeder so one can shoot and finally roast cooking them.

I keep hoping Whisky will bring one home and so earn her keep.

Sod pheasant - Whisky should bring home a deer!!! Robbie doesn't even understand what squirrels are so I doubt he'd get anything.

Sorry that was me!!! I'm on my netbook and it doesn't want to play with remembering passwords etc.

I use xmarks. Makes my iPhone and main machines all the sane. Just haven't installed it on the netbook as I hardly use it. But dug it put of cupboard when laptop refused to charge.

you'll be pleased to hear I now have my bookmarks and passwords and all windows updates on my netbook! Normality has been returned. Now it's time to sort out that get rid of the wasters and dross on Facebook and LJ - I'm about to investigate filters! Everyone with a mental age above 14 will probably stay!

Pfft, pheasants have got nothing on our five squirrels and dozens of robins.

We staged a little interspecies gladiator fight over a packet of sesame snaps in the garden today. Despite the robins having complete air superiority, they seemed pretty annoyed at actually having to peck their food to pieces instead of just swooping in for the catch, so it's a little inconclusive whom to label victorious. I guess we'll include a cat in the next match, just to spice things up a little.
