Phew

I just spent an hour persuading Firefox that it was ok to load image files off a local file server rather than a web server.

This turns out to be altogether more complicated than it might be - because Firefox tries very hard to avoid doing what is clearly an insecure thing.  Got there in the end - now I can use the work wiki the same as all the IE users :->

In other news, the damp people finally found the source of the water - a pipe hidden behind the fake shutters on the side of the window - coming down from the upstairs flat.  Can't get at it yet, but it means that I _am_ covered by insurance, and won't have to spend thousands of pounds getting this fixed.

So, how did you convince Firefox to do that?

Pleased thesorce has been traced! This has been a nightmare for you both. When does it start? If it's behind the shutters and they need to remove them I suspect full redecoration will be covered too!
