Answers slighly skewed because "from work" and "from home" are often synonymous.

Oh, and when I *did* read it, I read it through an rss reader.

It seems to still have lashings of javascript or something, as the word logon is not a button on my phone.

I was trying to download a copy of my profile pick, and was having difficulties on m.facebook.com.

I counted school as "work" for the purposes of this poll.

Alas, FB and LJ are blocked at my workplace. Fortunately, Dreamwidth isn't (and my last LJ update was actually a DW post, automatically cross-posted).

I have a facebook account because I need one to be able to see photos posted by family overseas. I make a *point* of not reading it, ever, apart from that, because the interface is offensively terrible and the main functionality seems entirely based around people spamming me with ads for games and events I don't want to go to.

So I kind of break the assumptions in the middle two questions.

Lite is not yet available in Canada.

I find the usual Facebook very useful. It's basically an equivalent of Outlook or Notes but for personal life, plus the photo tagging and sharing is madly useful. Blocking works well to make game invites go away.

I don't trust myself to actually get the work done I need to if I look at either facebook or lj at work - so I treat them a strictly leisure activities.

So what was the theory? And did the data support it?
