Oh, I guess if mailing a check counts... then I should've also checked 'by snail-mail'... ...but not for the above (unrelated?) question. I do that only for utilities. (Gas, water, electric)

For me, "in person" covers various special requirements, e.g. getting bank cheques as part of car and house purchases, opening/closing accounts, etc.
I try to do everything else online. And finally, our home loan was organised through a "mobile banker", who visited us a few times, delivering and collecting paperwork as required.
