Gardening on Salvia

Amusingly, a friend was talking about Salvia just the other day.  Tis legal in the UK.

I almost mis-read that as "gardening on saliva", which would explain why he collapsed.

Yeah, it's a species of sage. There's one sample at the botanics, but if you walk in and ask its location, nobody will tell you because for a while, the gardens were full of little tinkers poking the shrubbery, looking for it. Threatened by hippies in the rock garden, the gardeners have hidden the plant from view entirely. Somewhere in the botanics there is the perfect stoner plant - but it's a secret.

I'm amused that they keep trying to find it, considering that you can buy it online for not that much...

Aww! Poor little plant!

I know people used to do that with mushrooms, at least mushrooms have a defense system, some of them are poisonous :)
