Modification for second question: Add "emotional support for girls has increased while emotional support for boys has dropped". There is no male equivalent for "You go, girl!"
YOu forgot that females perform better than boys as we're nto so easily distracted by low cut tops or hot totty. Boiys definitely have penis driving the brain at times.
I think it's a mixture of cultural expectations, teaching styles, and other things I haven't thought of :->
