Cool thing of the day

Google has started doing autosuggest on their main search page. They've had that in the Firefox search dropdown for a while, but it's cool that it's now hit the main site.

Not only is it nigh-instant, but the spellchecking is included - so typing in anderw brought back "andrew" as the top suggestion.

Very nice bit of work.

Watch out, it also gives away spoilers! Try typing "Bruce Willis is Dead" for one.

wait, that was working last night. I should have checked before I suggested it. Try typing in Dumbledore instead. OH YOU GET THE IDEA

noo, I mean if you just type "Dumbledore" it suggests "Dumbledore dead" look someone who is better at basic human communication than me wrote a blog post about it.
