The second one does what nearly all Ev psych does - assumes that only men have agency and choice, and picks it's evidence to support its pre-determined conclusions. This is patent bollocks. For example, lots and lots of suicide bombers are female, yet these are utterly ignored.

This certainly applies to some of the examples - but a fair number of the items in the article don't seem, to me, to be assuming more agency on the part of either gender.

Do we have any figures on suicide bomber gender ratios?

Not off the top of my head. I recall reading an article in a broadsheet, but I don't know which one or when.
